David Bickel is an experienced audio and music program specialist with a rich background in leading audio departments and developing youth music initiatives. Currently serving as the Audio Department Lead Technician at Events United since November 2022, David also held the position of Associate Executive Director at Music & Youth Initiative from September 2010 to November 2022, where collaboration with co-founders resulted in a national after-school music program partnered with over 22 youth organizations. Earlier experience includes the role of Program Manager and Music Clubhouse Director at Merrimack Valley YMCA Lawrence Branch from November 2006 to August 2010, where community-based music enrichment programming was established for inner-city youth. Academic credentials include a degree in Contemporary Writing and Production from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University.
