Henry W. Mosley

Henry W. Mosley is the current Chief Financial Officer at Events DC. Prior to their current position, Mosley served as the Associate Chief Financial Officer - Economic Development & Regulation for the Government of the District of Columbia from July 2002 to August 2005. In this role, they were responsible for the day-to-day financial operations of the 16 economic development agencies under the Mayor's authority, including formulation and execution of operating and capital budgets, cash and grant management, establishment of internal control systems and related policies and procedures, and financial reporting. Henry also supervised 56 professional staff members with a budget authority of $620 million in government funds and provided budget oversight of $580 million in independent agency funds.

From January 2000 to July 2002, Mosley served as the Chief Financial Officer - Economic Development for the Government of the District of Columbia. In this role, they were responsible for financial planning, analysis, and management for the District's economic development programs and initiatives.

Mosley began their career in public service as the Comptroller for the Government of the District of Columbia - Department of Housing and Community Development from October 1997 to January 2000. In this role, they were responsible for the financial management of the department, including budgeting, accounting, and auditing.

Henry W. Mosley has an MBA in Accounting and Finance from Willamette University as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management from Loma Linda University.

Their manager is Samuel R. Thomas, Jr., Interim President and Chief Executive Officer. They are on a team with Sheila Miller - Chief of Staff, Michael Cerha - Vice President, RFK Campus, and Ash Rix - Director, Corporate Partnerships.
