Daniel McCarthy has worked as a Software Engineer at EventPipe since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Development Engineer at Turbocam International from June 2022 to December 2022. From September 2021 to June 2022, they were a Software Engineer Associate at NextStep HealthTech. Daniel also worked as an Application Developer at UNH ECenter (Peter T. Paul Entrepreneurship Center) from January 2020 to June 2022. Before that, Daniel worked as a General Employee at UNH Stilling's Dining Hall from February 2019 to January 2020. Daniel also gained experience as a General Floor Staff at O'Neil Cinemas from November 2017 to January 2020, and as a Bagger at Market Basket from October 2014 to December 2016.

Daniel McCarthy completed their high school education at Littleton High School from 2014 to 2018, obtaining a High School Diploma. Following that, they attended the University of New Hampshire from 2018 to 2022, where they pursued an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Daniel also obtained additional certifications, including "Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Essential Training," "Visual Studio Tools for Azure DevOps," and "Visual Studio: Source Control with Git and GitHub" from LinkedIn in June and July of 2022.
