Timothy Sternfeld is a Hardware Design Engineer at Eventide since September 2012, specializing in the design of hardware and firmware for stompboxes and rack effect units, along with manufacturing support and product testing. Previously, Timothy held an Electrical Engineering Internship at Clear Align in June 2011, where responsibilities included developing and verifying designs for electro-optical devices. As a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2008, Timothy developed a toolkit for measuring acoustical characteristics in performance spaces while gaining experience with LabView Software and MATLAB. Additional experience includes a Technical Assistant Internship at World Café Live in 2007, focusing on sound equipment and electronics maintenance. Timothy earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2011.
