Toby Smith is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Event UK since February 2023, Toby previously held the same position at The City Pub Group Plc from November 2020 to February 2023. Prior to that, Toby was Chief Executive Officer at Coffeesmiths Collective Limited and Novus, from April 2019 to February 2020 and 2014 to 2019, respectively. Additional leadership roles include serving as Chief Executive Officer at Stonegate Pub Company Limited and Town & City Pub Group and Managing Director at Laurel Pub Company. Toby began the career as Director of Operations at SPIRIT PUB COMPANY (MANAGED) LIMITED from 2003 to 2006. Educationally, Toby is a graduate of Northumbria University, having attended from 1989 to 1992.
