Thomas van der Schoor has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Thomas started their career as a Researcher at Technical University Delft in 2002 and later worked as a Design Engineer and Project Manager at IPN Europe from 2003 to 2008. Following that, they worked as a Product Engineer at Inspirate from 2008 to 2010 and as a Freelance Product Engineer in Amsterdam from 2008 to 2011. Thomas then joined Philips Consumer Lifestyle M&CC as a Mechanical Design Engineer from 2011 to 2013. Thomas continued their career as a Senior Product Developer at SimGas bv from 2013 to 2018, before becoming a Senior Product Designer at Searious Business from 2019 to 2019. Currently, they are working as a Design Engineer at EVBox since 2019.

Thomas van der Schoor attended Delft University of Technology from 1995 to 2002, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Industrial Design.
