Leon Bender is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Entwicklungsingenieur at Evamo - Pump Technology Solutions, specializing in the development of hydraulic pumps for steering and transmission assistance since August 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Master-Student at IAV, focusing on CAN signal analysis through machine learning, and as a Student Employee, engaging in powertrain development and thermodynamic simulation of automotive engines. Leon also worked as an Engineering Assistant at FEV North America, Inc., conducting vehicle testing and benchmarking for combustion and hybrid engines. Notably, Leon gained insights into turbocharger design and test bench concepts during a Bachelor-Student internship at AUDI AG and previously worked on turbocharger construction for R4 and R5 gasoline engines. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering - Design from Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin (BHT).
