Allan Ruiz holds extensive experience in telecommunications and regulatory consulting across Latin America and the Caribbean. Currently serving as One Web Senior Advisor at Eutelsat Group since July 2022, Allan is focused on market access requirements and obtaining national permits for the organization. Previously, Allan worked as a Senior Advisor at Access Partnership and as a Broadband Consultant/Trainer at BID/CEABAD, enhancing government officials' capacity to foster competition and investment in the broadband sector. Allan's career includes pivotal roles such as Secretario Ejecutivo at COMTELCA and Viceministro at the Viceministerio de Telecomunicaciones, where responsibilities included planning and coordinating activities in the telecommunications sector. Allan's technical expertise was further developed as a Member of Technical Staff at ALU and as a Solution Engineer at TTI-Telecom. With a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and significant teaching experience at Universidad de Costa Rica, Allan Ruiz combines academic knowledge with practical industry insights.
