Arvin Tangestanian currently serves as a Spectrum Engineer at OneWeb, contributing to the regulatory and strategy team by representing the organization in ITU meetings and coordinating analysis efforts at both operator and administration levels. Prior to this position, Arvin was a Graduate Student at York University, focusing on the research of shape memory alloy actuators for robotic applications and successfully presenting research at prominent engineering conferences. Arvin holds a Master of Science degree in Smart Materials and a Bachelor's degree in Space Engineering from York University, where also worked as a Research Assistant investigating piezoelectric and shape memory materials. Authored a publication on compliant robotic finger design presented at the 2022 IEEE AIM conference.
