Esther Groen currently serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board for Currence iDEAL and Verifone, where Esther is responsible for ensuring a secure transition of the iDEAL payment scheme to the European Payment Initiative. Esther is also involved with the European Women Payments Network as both a Member of the Advisory Board and Executive Board Member, focusing on community growth and the Young Leader Programme. As a Country Ambassador for the Netherlands, Esther promotes diversity and inclusivity within the Banking and Fintech sectors. Additionally, Esther holds advisory positions at Euroforum and Topvrouwen.nl and has previously worked as Head of Payments Centre of Excellence and Interim Head of Payments Consultancy at Icon Solutions. Esther's extensive experience includes moderating webinars for Banking Circle and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving the Dutch educational system through EduK. Esther's career began with a Master of Arts in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam.
