Szilvia Szabo currently serves as an External Relations Assistant at the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Training (CEPOL) since 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Program Administrative Specialist at the Open Society Foundations from September 2011 to 2019, focusing on public health issues related to mental health, migrants, refugees, and Roma health. Szilvia also held positions as a Program Associate and Program Assistant within the same organization, working on mental health and media narratives. Earlier in the career, Szilvia was a Picture Researcher at the National Army Museum from 2007 to 2009. Szilvia holds a Master’s degree in Communications, specializing in International Communications and Journalism, from the University of Szeged, completed in 2005.
