Georgios Giatrakos is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in asylum operations and management, having served as a Field Support Officer at the European Union Agency for Asylum (EUAA) since February 2017. Georgios has played key roles including managing Dublin cases, supervising refugee status determination processes, and leading teams in various high-pressure environments. Prior to the EUAA, Georgios held leadership positions with the Norwegian Refugee Council, Wandle, The Co-operative Bank plc, and Marfin Egnatia Bank, demonstrating expertise in team coordination, customer relationship management, and project oversight. Educational qualifications include a Post-graduate Diploma in Real Estate Investment and Finance from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia.
