Tiago Filipe is a Technical Manager in Mechanical Tests at European Test Services B.V. since September 2019, overseeing the management, maintenance, and operation of mechanical test facilities at ESA's Test Centre. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Test Engineer and Test Responsible at Delft University of Technology, where Tiago developed innovative methods for joining carbon fibre-reinforced thermoplastic composites. Before that, Tiago completed a Master Thesis Project at AUDI AG and gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Sonaca, focusing on composite process research and development for aircraft components. Tiago holds a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico.
