Pieniadz Agata is a highly experienced professional in agricultural economics and project management with a focus on sustainable food systems and bio-based industries. Currently serving as Head of Sector for Project Management in the Department of Green Europe at the European Research Executive Agency since February 2024, Pieniadz previously held roles at the Research Executive Agency, including Research Programme Administrator managing the Horizon 2020 SC2 Programme. Pieniadz has also worked as Project Manager for the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking and as a Research Project Officer, focusing on research initiatives for SMEs. Pieniadz's academic credentials include a PhD in Economic and Social Sciences in Agriculture, as well as degrees in Agricultural Sciences and Food Technology from recognized institutions in Germany and Poland.
