Oana Daniela Manea-Sapundzhiev currently serves as the Head of Audit and Anti-fraud sector at the European Research Executive Agency (REA) since January 2024. Prior experience includes roles at the European Commission from April 2011 to January 2024, notably in Audit Quality Assurance and as an External Auditor within the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation. Oana's career began at KPMG Romania as a Senior Auditor from September 2007 to April 2011, following a position as an Economist and Accountant at Centrul pentru Servicii de Radiocomunicatii. Oana holds multiple degrees, including a Certified Internal Auditor designation, and has pursued education at institutions such as ACCA and the Universitatea Româno-Americană din București. Oana Daniela Manea-Sapundzhiev's educational background is complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the Academia de Studii Economice din București.
