Lara Passante is currently the Head of Unit for People and Workplace at the European Research Executive Agency, a position held since November 2022. Prior to this role, Lara served as Deputy Head of Unit at the European Commission from May 2021 to November 2022, and held multiple leadership positions, including Head of Sector for Communication and Project Management at the Research Executive Agency between August 2017 and May 2021. Lara's experience includes roles as a Scientific Officer in neuroscience and environment & health at the European Commission from February 2011 to August 2017, and as a Project Officer for Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions from September 2008 to February 2011. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences, a complementary master's in Health Sciences, and a master's degree in Biomedical Sciences, all obtained from the Université libre de Bruxelles.
