Andrea Hutterer has extensive experience in research management and administration within prominent European research organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Sector for Research Infrastructures at the European Research Executive Agency since May 2019, Andrea previously held roles such as Research Programme Administrator at the same agency, Project Adviser at the European Research Council, and Platform Coordinator at Institut Curie. From May 2011 to March 2016, Andrea managed the Fellowships Programme at EMBO and served as a Science Manager at the Medical Research Council for a brief period. Andrea's academic background includes post-doctoral research at the University of Cambridge and earlier research roles at IMBA in Vienna, culminating in a PhD from the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology.
