Juliet Achieng

Juliet Achieng is a Junior Researcher at the European Forest Institute since December 2018, where responsibilities include co-coordinating Forest Europe's Workstream 3 focused on forest education and green jobs, as well as involvement in the Uforest Project funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme and a global student networking initiative. Previously, Juliet served as Deputy Coordinator for the Joint IUFRO-IFSA Task Force on Forest Education at the International Union of Forest Research Organizations and held a similar role at the International Forestry Students' Association from March 2019 to September 2021. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Tropical and International Forestry from Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, alongside research and internship experiences at the World Agroforestry Centre and the Tropical Biology Association.
