Alexander Lipke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in international relations and Asian geopolitical studies. Currently serving as Programme Coordinator for the Asia Programme at the European Council on Foreign Relations since March 2022, Alexander previously held roles at the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung as a Research Associate focusing on Asian Geopolitics and as a Programme Assistant. Alexander's earlier experience includes positions at RSIS, where research supported a book project on transnational influences on warfare, and at the German Marshall Fund, where interparliamentary dialogue was facilitated. Internships within the Deutscher Bundestag and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung contributed to notable skills in event organization, research, and stakeholder communication. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in International Political Economy from RSIS and an MA in International Politics and East Asia from the University of Warwick.
