Renaat L. has extensive experience in IT security strategy, policy, governance, and compliance, currently serving as the Head of IT Security Strategy at the European Commission. Renaat also holds the position of Cloud and Innovation Customer Relationship Manager. Prior to this, Renaat worked at Comverse Technology, Inc. as a Global Service Principle and held roles at Nokia Siemens Networks as both Regional Engagement Manager South West Europe and Lead Consultant. Renaat's earlier career includes positions at Siemens Networks as a Business Developer for Managed Services, Solution Consultant, and System Integration Architect. Renaat's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Operations and Technology Management from Ghent University and completion of a CIO Executive Program in Business Management Education at IMD.
