Alessia Volpe serves as the Chief Research Fellow and Research Associate in the Radiology Department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where contributions are made through Dr. Vladimir Ponomarev's Research Laboratory. Recognition includes multiple prestigious awards such as the Druckenmiller Center for Lung Cancer Research Award, Tow Foundation Fellowship Award, and Center for Experimental Immuno-Oncology Fellowship Award. Additionally, involvement as a Research Scholar in Cancer Immunotherapy with the European Association for Cancer Research and as an EACR Ambassador is notable. Other roles include reviewing for the European Society for Molecular Imaging and World Molecular Imaging Society conferences, alongside a previous position as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at King's College London. Alessia Volpe completed a PhD in Cancer Imaging at King's College London, as well as holding Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Biological Sciences from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
