Tonev Nicolas has cultivated a diverse and extensive career in journalism, currently serving as Rédacteur en chef for the morning show at Europe 1 since 2020. Overlapping with this role, Tonev has been Rédacteur en chef at Europe 1 and réalisateur at KM since 2018, while holding the position of Chef de service adjoint at France 2 since 2016. Previous experience includes an assistant chief editor role at Tony Comiti Productions from 2014 to 2016, and a grand reporter position at CAPA TV PRESSE from 2008 to 2014, as well as at Europe 1 from 2001 to 2008. Early in the career, Tonev worked as a freelance correspondent for various outlets including RFI and Les Echos from 1995 to 2001, covering global stories for notable programs such as C dans l'air.
