Barbara Rieck is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as the DiscoveryOne Global Program Manager and previously as a Senior Technical Sales Specialist at Eurofins Discovery since October 2018. At DiscoverX from June 2014 to October 2018, Barbara held roles as European Project Manager and Inside Sales Specialist, with a focus on introducing new technologies and managing custom assay developments. Barbara's academic background includes a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Leicester, where also served as a Research Associate and Research Assistant, conducting significant research on tuberculosis and genomic variation in clinical strains. Earlier experience includes a technician role at the University of Bonn, where Barbara led a malaria research project.
