Sean McGahan is an experienced professional in education and health services, currently serving as a Territory Manager at Diatherix since May 2021, where responsibilities include leading in-service trainings for medical professionals on molecular diagnostic testing. Prior to this, Sean held the position of Team Lead at the Jackson County Health Department, managing operations for the COVID-19 division. Sean also directed the BRIDGE Program at Carbondale Community High School, focusing on career development programs, and worked at Brehm Preparatory School, Inc. as Lead Hall Parent, overseeing a living-learning community for students with learning disabilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Director at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Illinois, leading programs for at-risk youth. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and a Standards-Based Instructor Certification in Mathematics from Western Illinois University.
