Aristeidis Pittas has extensive work experience in the shipping industry. Aristeidis served as the CEO of EuroDry Ltd since 2018 and as the CEO of Euroseas since 2005. Furthermore, they founded and served as the President of EUROBULK LTD since 1994.

Aristeidis Pittas began their education at athens college, where they completed their high school apolytirion from 1968 to 1978. Following that, they pursued marine engineering at Newcastle University and obtained a Bachelor's degree from 1978 to 1981. In pursuit of further knowledge and specialization, Aristeidis attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1983, where they earned a dual masters degree in Ocean systems management and naval architecture and marine engineering.
