Maria Karametou, CFE, FCCA, currently serves as a Risk and Control Senior Officer at Eurobank Leasing, focusing on regulatory reporting and coordination with auditing units since September 2021. Previously, as a Senior Analyst at EY from March 2017 to September 2021, Maria contributed to ethics and compliance projects in the pharmaceutical industry and performed compliance audits related to the Financial Services Industry. Maria's career began at PwC as an Assurance Associate from December 2014 to March 2017, where significant involvement in statutory audits and financial statement reviews was noted. Maria holds professional qualifications from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus.
