Filipa Martins is a PhD candidate at the Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto, focusing on the Lighthouse Parenting Programme, supported by an FCT scholarship. In addition to this role, Filipa serves as a researcher for TREATme and is involved in systematic reviews related to Patient and Public Involvement in mental health research for young people. Filipa is also a board trustee at Euro Youth Mental Health, advocating for young people's participation in mental health initiatives across Europe. As a reviewer for the Journal of Family Therapy and a past panel presenter for the Society of Psychotherapy Research, Filipa has contributed significantly to the field. Previous experience includes an internship at Centro Juvenil de Campanhã, where psychological interventions were conducted using Narrative Therapy and Non-directive Play-Therapy practices. Filipa holds a licenciatura in Psychology and a master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade do Porto, along with a further licenciatura from the University of Buenos Aires.
