Jinyun Chen, PhD has a diverse work experience in the fields of molecular biology, research, and teaching. In 2021, they began working as a Scientist and Research Scientist I at Eureka Therapeutics, Inc. In 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2019, they were a Summer Intern at Apostle, Inc. From 2014 to 2019, they were a PhD graduate research assistant and Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of the Pacific. Her research assistant role focused on the molecular mechanism of controlling intracellular protein levels of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) in both normal and cancerous microenvironments. Jinyun had experience in DNA manipulation and cloning, cell-based activity assay, cell engineering, immunoblotting and immunofluorescent. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Anhui University of Chinese Medicine where they studied the pharmacokinetics and anti-inflammatory effects of geniposide on adjuvant arthritis rats. Jinyun had experience in establishing adjuvant/collagen-induced arthritis rat model, running PK studies, and isolation of PBMC and primary fibroblast-like synoviocytes.
Jinyun Chen, PhD received a degree in Molecular-cellular pharmacology and toxicology from the University of the Pacific between 2015 and 2019.
