Aaron Estrada Poggio is a skilled data analyst, software engineer, and researcher with extensive experience in energy data collection and analysis, application development, and project management. Currently contributing to the Urban and Regional Energy Systems group at Eurac Research since February 2018, Aaron has worked on various projects under European Commission Grant Agreements, utilizing technologies such as InfluxDB, PostgreSQL, Python, and Tableau for data warehousing, visualization, and dashboard creation. Previous roles include research support at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where efforts focused on data mining and information extraction, and as a research assistant, developing information extraction techniques. Early career experience includes development positions in the tourism sector and project leadership at Fox International Channels, managing web application projects and software development. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Data and Knowledge Engineering from the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano and a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala.
