Raffael Clerici has a diverse and extensive work experience. Raffael started their career at UBS Investment Bank in 1994, where they worked as an Associate Director in Global Compensation until 1998. Raffael then joined Deutsche Bank in 2000 as a Compensation Consultant for a few months. In 2002, they joined HB Fuller as the Compensation & Benefits Manager for Europe before being promoted to HR Director for EMEA in 2005. Raffael spent nine years at HB Fuller before moving to Jet Aviation in 2011. At Jet Aviation, they held multiple roles, including Director Group Compensation & Benefits, HR Director Switzerland, and finally Director Human Resources for EMEA & Asia. Raffael worked at Jet Aviation until 2017, when they joined EUMETSAT as the Head of Human Resources, a position they currently hold.

Raffael Clerici began their education in 1991 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Science. Raffael completed their studies in 1994. Raffael continued their educational journey at Florida State University from 2000 to 2002, undertaking a Master of Science degree in Financial Mathematics.
