Paolo Ius has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Paolo began their career as a Thermodynamics Analyst at Politecnico di Torino, where they studied and simulated the Thermal Control System of a Lunar Rover. Paolo also worked as a Research Collaborator at Politecnico di Torino, focusing on Space Mission Planning.
In 2015, Paolo joined NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory as a Scientific Researcher, where they developed a mathematical model and simulation software for ion-trapping techniques.
Paolo then moved on to CGI, where they worked as an AIV Engineer for projects such as EUMETSAT MTG IDPF-I and ESA Galileo GCS-SCCF. Paolo'sresponsibilities included team leadership, testing, debugging, and knowledge consolidation.

Currently, Paolo is working at EUMETSAT as a System Integration, Verification and Validation Engineer, focusing on the Low Earth Orbit division of the Programme Development department. Paolo is responsible for system integration, verification, and validation activities in close coordination with various teams.

Paolo Ius completed their education from 2010 to 2015 at Politecnico di Torino, where they obtained a Laurea Magistrale (LM) degree in Ingegneria aerospaziale, aeronautica e astronautica. In addition, they obtained a TOEFL certification in November 2011 from ETS.
