Cédric Bergeron has a diverse work experience in various meteorological and geophysical organizations. Cédric currently works as the Coordinator of Online Data Services at EUMETSAT, Europe's meteorological satellite agency. In this role, Cédric is responsible for establishing and operating meteorological satellites to monitor the weather and climate from space, providing valuable information to national meteorological services and other users globally.
Prior to their current position, Cédric held the role of Manager of Copernicus Climate Data Store at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts from 2015 to 2020. Before that, they worked at Meteo France International, where they served as the Head of Data Centre Systems & Solutions and later as the Product Manager for Climate Data/Products Management Systems.
Cédric began their career as a Geophysicist at the CEA, Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission in 2000. Cédric then transitioned to the role of a Seismologist at CEA between 1997 and 1999.

Cédric Bergeron started their education in 1993 at Ecole et Observatoire des Sciences de la Terre - EOST, where they pursued a degree in Geophysicist Engineering. Cédric completed this program in 1996. Following their time at EOST, Cédric enrolled at ISAE-SUPAERO in 1996 to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Astrophysics Planetology, which they successfully completed in 1997.
