Erwin Smole serves as Vorstand and Member of the Executive Board at Stadtwerke Klagenfurt AG since April 2019 and has been a Member of the Board for the EU DSO Entity since June 2021. Prior experience includes Lektor at Carinthia University of Applied Sciences from August 2011 to March 2020, focusing on Electrical Energy & Mobility Systems, and Co-Founder and CSO of Grid Singularity from May 2016 to April 2019. Erwin Smole also held managerial roles at startup300 and Smole Energy Solutions GmbH from 2011 to 2019, and served as Geschäftsführer at PwC from 2006 to 2011. Educational qualifications include an MBA from California Lutheran University and a Diplom Ingenieur from Technische Universität Graz.
