Samantha Davison is an experienced security and privacy engineering leader currently serving as the Head of Security and Privacy Engineering at Etsy since June 2023. Prior to this role, Samantha was the Director-In-Residence at Krebs Stamos Group LLC, where leadership involved establishing a Trust and Safety practice. Notable previous positions include Director of Trust and Privacy Engineering at Robinhood, where Samantha built consumer-facing Trust, Privacy, and Security engineering functions, and Security Engineering Manager roles at Lyft, Snap Inc., and Uber. Samantha co-founded Secure Mentem, focusing on bespoke security culture programs for Fortune 500 companies and Silicon Valley startups, and also held the position of Director of Product at Apozy.
