Hope Tambala is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in design systems at Etsy since September 2023. Co-Founder and Principal Software Engineer at Puente Desarrollo Internacional, Hope has contributed to creating data collection and analysis software for international health needs since October 2017. Previously, at Cityblock Health from January 2022 to August 2023, Hope led engineering efforts for a design system and developed care management tools. Experience also includes roles as a Software Engineer at The Washington Post, a Software Engineering Fellow at In-Q-Tel, and a Community Health Extensionist with the Peace Corps. Hope holds a Master of Science in Information, Human-Computer Interaction from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the same institution.
