Bill Massie is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in software engineering and management. Bill has held several key positions at Etsy, including Engineering Manager, Director of Engineering for Seller Services, and Engineering Director for Payments. Prior to Etsy, Bill served as Vice President of Engineering at Bread Finance. Bill began a career at Capital IQ as a Programmer and Team Lead and also worked as a Programmer at Bondi Software Inc. Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Virginia, obtained between 1989 and 1992.
