Sebastian M. is currently a Data Scientist at Blue Goji, working on a UC Berkeley Capstone project since September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Web Scraper at Blue Sky Travel Search and as a Backend Developer and DevOps Admin for the Queues project at UC San Diego, where significant contributions were made to enhance server performance and support over 400 students. Sebastian held positions as a Computer Science Tutor and Instructional Assistant at UC San Diego, providing college-level instruction and tutoring to high school and college students. A backend software developer intern at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, Sebastian contributed to the development of an educational game. Previous tutoring experience includes mathematics and Spanish through Arbor Tutors. Sebastian holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from UC San Diego.
