Bill Cornelius

Bill Cornelius has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Bill began their career in 1985 as a Healthcare Sales Representative for Versyss/DESCO, where they were a top producer for three years and won several awards for performance. In 1988, they joined GE's Government Contracts division, where they obtained a Level 6 Security Clearance for government contract and procurement. Bill then moved to Medical Manager in 1990 as a Sales Manager, where they built sales teams and assisted the company in several custom software development projects. In 1996, they became Regional Sales Manager for EHS, where they specialized in Healthcare Sales Marketing EPR, Managed Care, Credentialing and Practice Management Systems and Services, and was the top performing nationally for the company. In 1998, they joined Medcomsoft, Inc. as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, where they developed Healthcare Sales Force and Channel for US marketing Practice Management and EMR and was part of the management team that took the company public on the TSE. In 2001, they founded and became CEO of mySmartSimulations, Inc., which they built from the very beginning. In 2014, they created mySmartHealthcare\u00ae, leveraging their experience and IP to create a solution in the healthcare industry. In 2017, they joined Health Scholars (formerly SIMnext) as Vice President of Business Development, focusing on growing the custom services segment and supporting the current and future software solutions. In 2018, they founded and became CEO of eTrainetc, LLC, which developed the first software as a service (SAS) model for micro simulation-based training that is supported by an authoring tool, data analytics, AI and additional supporting technologies.

Bill Cornelius began their educational journey at SUNY Broome Community College, where they obtained an Associate in Business Administration in 1981-1983. Bill then attended Western New England University from 1983-1985, studying Business Administration and Computer Science. Additionally, Bill obtained a certification in GE Business Presenting from the GE Education Program.
