Rachel M. Alvarez, MPH, CHES, is a seasoned public health professional currently serving as Program Manager II at ETR, where oversight of the Tobacco Education Clearinghouse of CA grant is a primary responsibility. Previously, Rachel held roles as Health Educator at California State University-Sacramento, managing health initiatives and student programming, and as Community Programs Manager at Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc., where leadership and community relationship-building were key. Rachel’s experience spans various positions in health education, community engagement, and program management, with a strong focus on tobacco cessation, alcohol and drug safety, and health promotion. A holder of a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Saint Mary's College of California, Rachel brings a robust educational background to public health initiatives.
