Manuel Scicluna has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering.

Manuel currently works at ETPA - A new way of power trading as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities include transforming monolithic modules into microservices, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Kubernetes and Ansible in AWS, and creating architectural diagrams.

Prior to ETPA, Manuel worked at Virtuagym as a Python Software Engineer. Manuel developed and maintained different microservices, ensured proper test coverage, and conducted code reviews for consistency and knowledge sharing.

Manuel also has experience working at RS2 Software plc as a Freelance Software Developer and later as a Software Developer. In their role, they developed groovy scripts and plugins, performed JIRA and Confluence administration tasks, and conducted automation testing.

Manuel Scicluna received their BSc (Hons) degree in Creative Computing from Goldsmiths, University of London, between 2013 and 2017. Prior to this, they completed a BTEC Extended Diploma in IT with a focus on Software Development at MCAST from 2011 to 2013.
