David Anderson is an experienced geography educator and leader with a significant background in community engagement and geographical assessment. Currently serving as the Head of Community Engagement in the Geography Department at Eton College since June 2021, David also holds the position of Chartered Geographer Assessor at the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) since June 2020. Previously, David was the Head of Geography at Eton College for over a decade and a member of the Council for the Royal Geographical Society from June 2015 to June 2018. David holds a DPhil in Physical Geography (Palaeoclimatology) from the University of Oxford and a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Denver.
