Shaeffer Beavers started their work experience in 2012 at the University of Oklahoma, where they served as a Sales Representative in the Athletic Ticket Office. Shaeffer was responsible for handling inquiries, conducting ticket sales, and providing assistance to guests during athletic events. Shaeffer also worked as an OU Student Ambassador, promoting the value of an OU degree and guiding prospective students through the enrollment process.

In 2017, Shaeffer became the Box Office Manager at the University of Oklahoma, overseeing ticketing operations. Shaeffer later advanced to the role of Assistant Director of Ticketing in 2019, until April 2022.
