Philip Farrow is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Ethos Engineering, specializing in the design of data centres for hyperscale and colocation projects across EMEA since November 2022. Previously, Philip held positions at PM Group, focusing on data centre powerplanes and electrical distribution systems, and H&MV Engineering, where expertise in HV substation design for renewable energy projects was developed. Additional experience includes assessing grid connections at EirGrid and commissioning HV systems at National Grid, alongside a leadership role as a Financial Analyst Team Lead at Morningstar. Philip's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Astronomy from the University of Nottingham, a Foundation degree in Electrical Power Systems from Aston University, and ongoing studies for an MSc in Sustainable Electrical Power Systems Engineering at The University of Manchester.
