James Nien is a Community Rehabilitation Support Worker at Neami National, supporting clients with tailored rehabilitation services since February 2023. Additionally, James serves as an Interpreter/Translator for Nuer and Sudanese Arabic at Appen and has been a Community Mental Health Practitioner at Mind Australia Limited since May 2022, working with youth experiencing mental health challenges. With extensive experience as an interpreter for various organizations, James has been involved in interpreting and reviewing language services since 2006. James has also held roles in mental health support, including APS Clinician for the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs and Adolescent and Family Counsellor at the Ted Noffs Foundation. Academically, James is pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at the University of Southern Queensland and holds multiple qualifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Domestic Violence and a Bachelor of Social Science in Counselling.
