Tigist Belete is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in COVID-19 management and emergency operations. Currently serving as the COVID-19 Case Management Lead at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute and the Supervisor for COVID-19 Points of Entry and Quarantine sites at the Ethiopian Ministry of Health, Tigist has also taken on roles such as Isolation Team Leader within the same ministry. Additional contributions include serving as the Co-Founder and Secretary-General of Kalkidan Children's Health Care Organization and representing the Africa core team for PRO Leadership Global Inc. Tigist has a background in education as a part-time lecturer at Sante Medical College and Universal Medical College. With a Doctor of Medicine degree from Bethel Medical College, Tigist is actively involved in youth initiatives as an Ambassador for Inspired Ethiopia Youth Association.
