Shelley Topping-Omodunbi has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Shelley began their career as a School Social Worker at Community Partnerships Charter School in September 2005, where they worked until June 2008. In September 2008, they joined Fordham University as a Program Director-LPP, a role they held for seven years until September 2015. In November 2015, Shelley joined Ethical Culture Fieldston School as the Director of Community Partnership, a position they currently hold. Additionally, they briefly served as a member of CACNY in 2014.
Shelley Topping-Omodunbi obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Urban Studies/Affairs from Wellesley College in 2000. Shelley then pursued a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree in Children and Family Services from Columbia University School of Social Work, completing it in 2005.
