Mica McGriggs, PhD, serves as the Executive Director of Student Support & Wellness at Ethical Culture Fieldston School since 2019, following previous roles as Director of Student Support & Wellness at the same institution. In addition, Mica McGriggs has contributed as a freelance writer for The Huffington Post since 2015, focusing on social justice topics through the lens of intersectional feminism. Mica's prior experience includes positions as a psychologist at The New School and a postdoctoral fellow at Columbia University Medical Center, where responsibilities included mental health services. Mica McGriggs also completed a doctoral clinical internship at the University of Washington, emphasizing multicultural competence and social justice. Mica's educational background includes a postdoctoral degree in Psychology from Columbia University, a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University, and a BS in Psychology from Northern Arizona University.
