Joshua Lai's work experience includes roles in IC design and verification engineering, FPGA and IC digital design, and IC digital verification. Joshua currently works at Ethernovia as a Senior IC Design and Verification Engineer since March 2023. Previously, they worked at ASTC from December 2021 to March 2023 as a FPGA and IC Digital Design Lead / Staff Engineer and from January 2019 to December 2021 as a FPGA and IC Hardware Design Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Senior IC Digital Design Engineer from January 2014 to January 2019 and as an IC Digital Verification Engineer from June 2008 to December 2013.

Joshua Lai received their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Computer Systems Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology. Joshua attended the university from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued their Master of Science degree in Microelectronic Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia from 2015 to 2017.
