Dr. Jerome Noir has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. P.D Dr. jerome started their career as a post-doctoral researcher at York University in 2000. From 2001 to 2002, they worked as a researcher at the University of Joseph Fourier in Grenoble. P.D Dr. jerome then moved to UCLA in 2002, where they conducted research on rotating fluid dynamics applied to planets, focusing on the development of experimental setups. In 2008, Dr. Noir co-founded Loopio Design, an eco-friendly kids furniture company, and served as a designer until 2010. P.D Dr. jerome'snext role was at ETH Zurich, where they worked as a senior scientist and head of the Experimental Fluid Dynamics Laboratory of the Earth and Planetary Magnetism Group. Since 2016, Dr. Noir has been serving as a lab leader at ETHZ. Overall, they have gained expertise in experimental research on the flows driven in the liquid core and subsurface oceans of planets.
P.D Dr. Jerome Noir completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor's Degree in Fundamental Physics from Pierre and Marie Curie University, which they earned between 1991 and 1995. P.D Dr. jerome then pursued a Master's Degree in Geophysics from Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris from 1995 to 1996. Subsequently, they went on to earn a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Geophysics and Fluid Dynamics from Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) between 1997 and 2000.
