Brian J. Shaw is a seasoned arts professional with extensive experience in theatre production and management. Currently serving as a Grants Writer for the Educational Theatre Company since October 2021 and as a Creative & Line Producer for Theatre Washington since July 2022, Brian has played a pivotal role in organizing notable events such as DC Theatre Week and the Helen Hayes Awards. Previous roles include Artistic Associate and Production Manager at IN Series, encompassing diverse responsibilities from grant writing to directorial assignments. Brian's background also features costume design, assistant directing, and retail experience, complemented by educational credentials including a BA in Theatre from Baldwin Wallace University and a certificate in Arts & Culture Strategy from the University of Pennsylvania.
